How I Post-process Images
Snapseed is My Go-To Photo Editing Tool—and It Should Be Yours Too
Let’s face it, finding the perfect photo editing app can feel like an endless hunt. You either get stuck with clunky tools or have to shell out for something fancy.
That’s why I was thrilled when I discovered Snapseed.
It’s packed with everything you need to turn good photos into great ones, and the best part? It’s completely free.
Honestly, I can’t imagine editing without it.
I process all my pictures straight on my iPhone using the same sequence for every picture.
Here’s my Snapseed sequence (but each photo might need some tweaking) :
Open Snapseed and pick a shot from your camera roll
Tools -> Grainy Film -> A01 -> Adjust to around +10
Tools -> Crop -> pick the appropriate format (I love square or 5:4)
Tools -> Tune Image (each picture could have slighlty adjusted settings)
Saturation: -15 to -20
Ambiance: approx +40
Highlights: -35 to -40
Shadows : +15 to +20
Frames: Choose “1” with a setting of -15
Export -> Export
You’re done.
